El ministerio apostólico en la 2 Corintios

A medida que fueron naciendo nuevas comunidades de seguidores de Jesús, sus miembros tuvieron que revisar si el ejercicio de la autoridad en su seno era coherente con el evangelio que creían y predicaban. Este artículo se centra en un caso concreto de esta reflexión: la visión del ministerio que refleja la carta denominada 2 Corintios. Los corintios habían cuestionado el ministerio del apóstol Pablo. Con la carta, Pablo, junto con Timoteo y los miembros de su equipo, intentaron responder a estas críticas, que además habían sido avivadas por la comparación con otro grupo de predicadores foráneos que había llegado posteriormente a Corinto. Pablo les comunica que el ministerio solo es legítimo si proviene del Señor, si adopta el estilo evangélico de Cristo, que no rehuyó el sufrimiento y la debilidad, y si se ejerce en favor de la comunidad.
