Este artículo estudia los ministerios mencionados en Ef 4,11; busca esclarecer su significado teológico y eclesiológico. A partir del análisis de la sintaxis y de la retórica de Ef 4,11-16, se propone una lectura que articula los ministerios y la edificación del cuerpo de Cristo. El crecimiento de la Iglesia se descubre como un movimiento, un camino de consolidación hacia su unidad y madurez. La descripción de los ministerios no sugiere su institucionalización funcional, sino su distribución cristológica. Ellos son expresión del don de la gracia y están orientados a la comunión y al crecimiento en el amor.
